The whole farm. The white house you can see on the far right is the one we're going to move into first, until the other one is available. A closer look at the house we're moving into first. The older house. Inside our barn!
Ronja has completed her first riding course at the riding centre down the road, and is very happy on horseback! She now steers, trots and manouvers the horse confidently. Great fun and a good challenge for a little girl!
Mr. Payne has done a great job with the garden this spring, and we have already enjoyed the fruits of his work. It's only a matter of time before the garden will explode with fantastic, crunchy, superhealthy and superior home grown quality veg!
On Friday, while Mr. Payne was at work, I figured I'd make a couple of phone calls and test the credit limit on his American Express, and WHOOPS! - I'd bought us a farm! Luckily, it's a beautiful place and Nik was very pleased with me when he came home. Seriously: WE'RE ECSTATIC!! Our dream has come true, we own a fantastic piece of land on a sunny hillside about 20 km from town, close to Ronjas school, with an unbelievable view all along the valley and with sun from morning till night. We are so fortunate and so happy!!
Zoo Payne is Mr. & Mrs. Payne and our three sugarplums Ronja (9), Freja (3) and Falk (0). With Billie the Wolfhound, cats Boo and Sioux, Marius the horse, a pair of cows, a band of sheep and a bunch of chickens, the Paynes live the dream on a farm in Norway.
