A genius in the making.

Freja seems to be a wonderchild. I know, all parents say that, but this time it's true!

Just look:

She's teaching herself the clock, math AND the alphabet SIMULTANEOUSLY (that means at the same time). It's all in the family. Even the all natural mad-professor hairdo.

I'm lucky enough to be working 60%, so I can still be home with my lovelies two days a week. It's just the perfect balance! But alas, today was not the best one. The littlest monkey has again decided to start terrorizing her parents 10-20 times a night (ok ok, maybe not that many). It's so much fun.

So, in lack of other words, or creativity:

Feeding up on it!

Having one of those moments again, just BLAAAAH to wooly sweaters, wet floors from melted snow (equals damp yucky socks), dry winter skin, yellow snow, brown snow, grey snow, slippy roads, frozen fingertips, cold rooms in the morning, putting on hundreds of layers of clothes on the kids, NOT putting on enough clothes on myself, and thus freezing my tootsies off driving to work, grumpy dogs, grumpy chickens, the dream of spring, sigh. I wanna go here:

Nine months.

Our little wonder is nine months old today. Imagine that, she has been out in the world as long as she was in the womb. Time flies, and other clichés.
The day has been celebrated with a new tooth! What a way to say she's growing up!

Harmony: Warm vegetable soup, a big picture for colouring in, deep concentration. She's humming a song they sang at school, and it's snowing outside. It's peaceful and quiet, she's content, in her own little world.

Hope everyone has had good celebrations! I've officially thrown Christmas out, and have seriously started preparing mentally for a crash landing into everyday life in a couple of days.
