Chosen again.

A little someone has come into our lives. We don't know who it is yet, but the privilege of having been chosen again, feels strong and strange and wonderful.
The flutter of butterfly wings has started in my body. Another miracle!

Mrs. Payne loves...

...being back at work after a looooooooooong break, but oh how everyday life has caught up with us. In good way, but it's busy! (Hence the lack of images in this post.)

By the way, I love this film, and this one, and these days I'm having a reunion with this wonderful, beautiful woman (bought this book, can't wait to dig into it). Oh, and this song is pretty elegant.

Today:

Last day of summer break on my part! Went cycling with Ronja in the glorious summer weather, found a slow-worm and a big green grasshopper (both had passed away, unfortunately), saw a mysterious pattern in the sky, went to town, went home, baked bread, had a proper cowboy dinner, went to the pond to swim in the last rays of summer. Found a dragonfly (alive!). Then home, supper, now bed.

Morning on the farm.

The mornings are quite magical these days. I take the dog out in the field, and everything's so quiet and beautiful. The cows are awake, but they don't make a sound, the chickens are still in, the sheep are hushed, someone's still asleep in the house.
And then there's the flowers, and the mist.
